Chantal Fae is a Visitation Supervisor and Parent Coach with McLaughlin Counseling, LLC located in Centennial, Colorado. In her role, Chantal works with Douglas County families who are navigating the Department of Human Services child welfare system. The ultimate goal of McLaughlin Counseling, LLC is reunification for our parents and children assuming that is in the best interest of the child. Therefore, Chantal strives to empower the parents in her program with the skills, confidence and abilities to rebuild, repair and strengthen the bonds and relationships they have with their children.
Chantal came into the Supervised Visitation field after spending the majority of her career in Early Childhood Education. Chantal graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a minor in LGBT studies. Her first post secondary job was as a Preschool Teacher then Director of a non-profit Child Development Center in Harrisburg, PA. Chantal earned her Directors Credential in 2013 through a program connected to National Louis University and took several ECE classes at the local community college to gain more insight into the field.
In 2016 Chantal and her family moved to Denver, Colorado and shortly after she began working at New Legacy Charter School as a Toddler Teacher and Perinatal Specialist in their unique 2-generation model. Chantal became a trained Birth Doula and solidified her interest in Maternal health and wellbeing. In 2019 Chantal was invited to participate in the PassageWorks Equity Based Leadership Institute, a year long learning journey with educators from Denver and Aurora. Her experience with Passageworks inspired her to apply for the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program 13th Cohort.
