After seeing the immense need for quality child care throughout Morgan County, Rosie and her husband built Evans Early Childhood Center from the ground up and opened in March of 2018. She has been in the field of education and early childhood for over ten years, and is especially passionate about organizing educator professional development and training for advocacy and education about best practices for our children's earliest, most important years. She currently holds a Colorado Teaching license, Early Childhood Director's Certificate, Early Childhood Trainer Credential, Early Childhood Coaching Credential, Reflective Supervisor Credential, Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care Specialist, and a current ITERS3 & ECERS3 Certified Rating Specialist.
Community partnerships and advocacy opportunities are important to Rosie as well. She currently serves on the Parents as Teachers Advisory Board, the Colorado Preschool Program Advisory Board, the Morgan Community College Early Childhood Program Advisory Board, as well as a Stakeholder in the Morgan County Partnership for Children and Families. Rosie feels strongly about pertinent issues in early childhood and continues to be an advocate in her community for accessibility and worthy wage for educators.
